Other key features include: four-position, keyless blade clamp for quick blade changes; sure-grip, anti-slip rubber handles; and pivoting shoe with open top for maximum visibility. It’s backed by DEWALT's three-year limited warranty, 90-day money-back guarantee, and one-year free service contract. This is the tool only--battery and charger sold separately.

This review is from: DEWALT Bare-Tool DC385B 18-Volt Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Tools & Home Improvement)
I picked this saw up for my projects and repairs around the house. It is simple to use, and has shown to be durable so far. I have used to to cut re-bar for a concrete form, and to repair sections of my fence. It has plenty of power, and the battery life is more than adequate. I cut thru 30 pieces of 1/2" bar, and it didn't shown any sign of power fade. I have cut off a couple old 2x4's also, and its still running strong. I'm very happy with the portability, power, and battery life. One improvement I would suggest for this and all recip saws would be a speed range selector (similar to the drills). The only way to control the speed is thru the trigger switch. Overall, for me (an average homeowner), this was a good investment.
