The scope's optical system transmits up to 98 percent of available light, ensuring maximum brightness from dawn to dusk. Field adjustments are now as simple as dialing in your subsequent ranges.

Nothing boosts a shooter's level of confidence better than generous, constant eye relief, which is why Nikon provided 3.6 inches of eye relief in the ProStaff. No more rough kickback from heavy recoiling cartridges, lightweight rifles, severe shooting angles, and just plain excitement. Other features include a Nikoplex reticle; a nitrogen-filled, O-ring-sealed housing that's waterproof and fogproof; support for an optional sunshade accessory for bright, rainy, or dusty conditions; and a quick-focus eyepiece. This review is from: Bushnell 8MP Trophy Cam Brown Night Vision Trail Camera (Sports)
Picked up this unit based on good reviews and a great warranty. Comes with free software to scan thru 1000's of pics to find motion (great when using field scan mode) and comes with free software for a buck scoring software (I haven't used this yet). The Scouting assistant software is great tool. Currently I have it set to 5MP, 1 sec delay, high sensitivity, Field scan turned on for 6am thru 7:15pm. After being on for just over a week used about 1 GB with these settings.

First location was in the middle of woods in a thick tall grass trail. Worked great facing NW direction. Plenty of canopy so I wasn't worried about direct sun. New spot is facing direct N (most state this is best if you can face north to avoid direct sun wash-out of the pics). At our house I tested (I highly recommend this to get used to the camera) facing south and south west w/o any problems with only 2 trees in our yard. Took great pics of cars and people in the neighborhood. I did have some low light blurring of pics till I updated the firmware as noted below.

I would recommend the following. Sony Envelope rechargeable batteries (new ones have even more charge cycles and have great life (85% of capacity after a year and spend a few bucks on the BC-700 Lacrosse charger or something similar. This charger took my Energizer rechargeable and gave them new life. Charges each cell separately and doesn't rely on just a timer. Our Digital camera went from 3 weeks between trying to take a pic and having dead batteries to lasting 4-6 months with about the same amount of use. Old energizer charger cooked the batteries I am guessing and the storage life was non existent, new charger they are working much better, but do loose over time so I would not use with this camera due its low consumptions and possible to go seasons on 1 charge.

Just ordered a 16 GB memory card and plan on trying videos later this fall to watch turkey patterns (Time lapse and Trigger can be set to use video, you get either pics or video but you can't do one of each). I purchased a Scandisk class 4 and MicroSD size so I can also view on my phone (Micro to SD adapter used in the unit). Class 4 card is probably over-kill but the price was not much different then class 2 (Higher is faster Be careful of fake memory cards, If you write a review make sure to know the seller if you are sure it was not a fake. Amazon has frustration free on the MicroSD and you can be assured it is not fake. I've read several reviews where memory cards were the problem or low battery life was tied to it on this and other trail cams.

Note Bushnell has a 2010 and 2011 firmware update. Review your Ser # to see if you need to update it. Fixed blurry pics I had in night vision before I ran the update.

How a Laser Rangefinder Works Bushnell's Yardage Pro rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for a laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within ±1 yard and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.

This review is from: Bushnell Tour V2 Golf Laser Rangefinder (Sports)
The Bushnell Tour V2 is excellent, easy to use, accurate......when it is working. We bought one a couple of months ago and it has already gone through 2 batteries. It's a bummer to use it and find it's not working because the battery is dead. A battery is supposed to last for 10,000 uses. We're going to try one more battery and if it goes dead quickly (as the other 2 have done), we're going to return it.

I have owned a Skycaddy for 2 years. I was tired of Skycaddy not working and sending it in for repairs, plus paying $50 per year for membership. I researched Laser Range Finders and found Bushnell Medalist to be okay. I took both the Skycaddy and the Laser on to the course and tested both for 2 rounds of golf. The Medalist was more accurate and easy to use. My wife prefers it also. It works anywere without up loading at each course you play

I've used a lot of Moultrie equipment from feeders to seed spreaders to cameras. They are always a good value for the dollar. This camera keeps that faith going.

The Good:
It's fairly simple to setup.
It's compact.
The pictures are good.
The trigger speed is better than most for a camera in this price range.
Battery life seems reasonable so far, although it's going to be far short of their 1 year claim, but I didn't realistically expect that.

The Bad:
the deer seem to react more to the infrared flash than they do to a standard flash, they don't leave because of it, but I have more pics of the deer staring at it.
you still get wash out/ over exposure from the flash if your subject is too close, although it did make a neat negative picture of the rack on my 10 pt buck.

I purchased one of these about 2 months ago.

Pros: Takes great daytime shots. Only triggers when something is in front of it. Sturdy construction. Long infrared range (with fresh batteries).
Cons: Sub par nighttime shots (very grainy). Goofy rubber boot over sd slot. Missing most usefull timeout settings (5, 10, 15?) and pics per trigger (2). Lousy buckling system (could not tighten strap).

I nearly returned because of the nighttime quality(you can see what is there, you're just not going to be framing any of the shots), but decided the quality of the triggering made it worth keeping. First camera I've had with no false triggers, EVER! Nearly double the infrared range of the Bushnell trophy cam. The timeout settings is not that big of deal. Have it set at one minute. 5 or 15 would cut down on a lot of the shots of the same squirrel or turkeys though. The rubber boot over the sd card slot works, just seems like it might fall off after a while, and it's on the bottom of the camera, so it's always wet after any rain or snow. I don't know why game cam manufacturers can't make a decent mounting system. The adjustable side of the buckle would not hold the strap at all unless I inverted it so the strap bound against itself (not easy to adjust like that). The slots are too big for the strap and there are no grippers and the angles are wrong. I replaced with a generic buckle from my local Fleet Farm (in the camping section), and that holds the strap perfect. And has any of them ever heard of elastic or bungee? That would make things a lot easier. All in all, a pretty good camera. Could have been a great camera though, with a few modifications.

Offering absolute precision in the palm of your hand, the ProStaff 550 employs Nikon's advanced Tru-Target ranging system, which lets users prioritize smaller and harder-to-range lone targets at the push of a button. As a result, it's easier than ever to range objects as small as fence posts, or get an instant read on that lone buck in the meadow. The unit also relies on Nikon's advanced ID technology to compensate for various incline or decline shooting angles--up to an incredible plus-or-minus 89 degrees (nearly vertical up or down). And thanks to Nikon's digital measurement processor, you'll enjoy speedy 1/2-yard accuracy within 99.5 yards, and 1-yard accuracy from 100 to 550 yards. On the other end of the spectrum, the unit can range as close as 11 yards, so you aren't restricted to long-distance targets only.

Add in such features as 6x multicoated optics, an eyeglass-friendly 18mm of eye relief, a continuous measurement mode, 100-percent waterproof and fogproof construction; and a maximum measurement of 733 yards and you have a comfortable, powerful range finder that leaves its competitors in the dust.

I've seen people criticize this rangefinder because it's hard to hit pins when golfing. Well guess what, flagsticks are tiny, of course it's hard to hit. If you want pin-seeker technology, then pony up the extra $100 and get one that has it! Personally, I just shoot people who are on the green, or shoot the ground near the hole and you'll get exactly what you need. None of us is Phil Mickelson, 2 yds difference to the hole when you're 170yds away isn't going to matter much. And when you're closer in (where it actually might matter), it's easier to hit the flag or the ground next to the hole.

I've used this on 5 rounds of golf now, and it's perfect. I find scan mode to be the most useful because it's easier to know when you've hit whatever you're aiming at vs. objects in the background/foreground. The readings are completely accurate and reliable, the casing is durable and water-proof, and it's very easy to use. It's been a huge help, even off the tee because so many courses are inaccurate with their signs and scorecards. The magnification is fun too. The laser is good at ranging normal targets from 250+ yds away. I've had it over 300+ with no problems as well, just for fun. It can probably go farther.

I heard the battery case comes off easily and gets lost, so I just put a piece of tape over mine when it arrived, and that's definitely done the trick.

FAQ's Real field of view Real field of view is the angle of the visible field, seen without moving the binoculars, measured from the central point of the objective lens. The larger the value is, the wider the viewfield available. For example, binoculars with a wider field of view are advantageous for locating fast-moving wild birds within the viewfield. This also applies for finding small nebulas or a cluster of stars in astronomical observations. http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/binoculars/nikon/RealField_of_View._V202987058_.jpg Apparent field of view Apparent field of view is the angle of the magnified field when you look through binoculars. The larger the apparent field of view is, the wider the field of view you can see even at high magnifications. With the conventional method used previously, the apparent field of view was calculated by multiplying the real field of view by the binocular magnification. (With this formula, apparent field of view wider than 65˚ is called wide field of view.) After revision, Nikon's figures are now based on the ISO 14132-1:2002 standard, and obtained by the following formula: tan ω' = Ï„ x tan ω Apparent field of view: 2ω' Real field of view: 2ω Magnification: Ï„ (With this formula, apparent field of view wider than 60° is called wide field of view.) http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/binoculars/nikon/ApparentField_of_View._V202987062_.jpg For example, the apparent field of view of 8x binoculars with an 7.0°real field of view is as follows: 2ω' = 2 x tan-1 (r x tan ω) = 2 x tan-1 (8 x tan 3.5) = 52.1° Relative Brightness Relative brightness value is obtained by squaring the diameter of the exit pupil. The greater the relative brightness is, the brighter the image will be. With 8x42 binoculars, the brightness is (42÷8)2= 28.1. This means that if the magnification is the same, the larger the effective diameter of the objective lens, the brighter the image will be. Do binoculars with the same exit pupil offer the same brightness? No. Brightness may vary even if the exit pupil is the same. This is because the amount of light reaching the viewer's eyes varies according to the number of lens elements and quality of lens/prism coatings. Superior optical design and highquality coating greatly contribute to the brightness of binoculars. Brightness values specified in product brochures, etc. are theoretical ones calculated in the design process. Please note these factors when comparing actual brightness values. Prism Coatings Multilayer coating is also applied to prisms to raise transmittance. A roof prism system has one surface that does not feature total internal reflection, so vapor deposition with metals, etc. must be used to raise the reflectivity of this surface. Also, phase-correction coating on roof surface ensures high-contrast images. *Binoculars' brightness and contrast are affected by not only prism coatings, but also the number of objective lens and eyepiece lens, and types of coatings. http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/binoculars/nikon/Coatings._V202987056_.jpgMetal-vaporized, high-reflectivity prism coating Using vacuum-vaporization technology, metallic material such as aluminum or silver is applied to the reverse side of a prism surface that is not totally reflective. This raises the reflectivity of the prism mirror surface. Dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating This coating features reflectance that exceeds 99%. By utilizing light interference, this coating assures high reflectivity across the full visible range, and ensures high color reproducibility. http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/binoculars/nikon/ReflectiveCharacteristics._V202987021_.jpgReflectance characteristics of prism coatings on mirror surface The horizontal axis indicates the wavelength of light. The vertical axis indicates the reflectance of light. Binoculars' brightness is determined not only by the reflective mirror, but also by the total optical system such as the number of lenses and quality of coatings. Phase-correction coatinghttp://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/binoculars/nikon/PhaseCorrection._V202987059_.jpg A roof (Dach) surface can cause phase shift of light that affects image resolution. This phenomenon is caused by phase differences arising from total light reflection on a roof (Dach) surface and it can occur with even a perfectly processed prism. Phase-correction coating is applied to the surface to minimize loss of resolution, ensuring high-contrast images. Twilight Factor The factor that has the greatest impact on resolution or image detail, will be dependent upon the amount of light available during the time of observation. During daylight hours, when your eye pupil size will be only about 2 to 3mm, magnification will be the principal factor in image resolution. At night, with the eye pupil dilated to 6 to 8mm, aperture size is the controlling factor. In twilight conditions both of these factors control resolution effectiveness and the twilight factor is the term that compares binocular performance under these conditions. The twilight factor is calculated by taking the square root of the product of the magnification and the aperture. The higher the twilight factor, the better the resolution of the binocular when observing under dim light conditions. For example, a 10 X 40 (twilight factor 20) would effectively resolve better under these conditions than a 7 X 35 (twilight factor 15.4) even though the 10 X 40 has a smaller exit pupil. Remember, however, that the twilight factor does not take into account the transmittance or quality of the optical system.

This was a first time binocular purchase...so I am by no means an "expert reviewer" What I AM is 100% satisfied with the purchase of the 10 X 42 monarch 3. I did my due diligence, about three weeks of net research and hands on at sporting goods stores. I found nothing in this price range that compares...in fact, I couldn't find an equal until I hit the $750 dollar range...on another manufacture.

Have had this camera for about a month and have been very happy with the results. Set it out in the woods about Sept. 17 2011, and when we checked it on Oct. 14 it still had 59% battery life left. This was the biggest downside to this unit when reading reviews, but I am happy with the product. For the price and quality of the product I would buy this product again in the future. Should have bought the lock box right away though.

My husband asked for a pair of binoculars to watch the birds in the yard with for Christmas. I had no clue as to what to buy. I checked out the reviews on this product. I'll admit, I was a little concerned that they could do what they said. (I know the pair we have now claimed to do so much, but they really don't). So I ordered them and then waited for Christmas morning to see what my husband thought. He absolutely Loves them!! Seeing the birds clearly close up, as well as the deer and turkey at a distance is absolutely no problem for them. They are worth every penny. I highly recommend this product, if it for a gift, you can't find better...if for yourself, what a treat!!!

Frequently Asked Questions About Bushnell's Rangefinders: Q: Is my laser rangefinder waterproof? A: All models are water resistant with the exception of Pro 1600 Pinseeker Rangefinder. It is 100% waterproof and can be submerged in water and even floats. Treat the water resistant models much the same as you would a digital camera.

Q: Are the laser rangefinders eye safe? A: Absolutely, all Yardage Pro products are well within the eye safety limits established by the FDA for Class 1 laser products.

Q: How accurate are Yardage Pro products? A: All of the Bushnell Laser Rangefinders are accurate to +/- 1 yard.

Q: Can I use my rangefinder on a course that doesn't have reflectors on the pins? A: Reflectors are not required to use your rangefinder on golf courses. However, they will enhance the effectiveness of your Bushnell Rangefinder.

Q: Is it permissible to use the rangefinder under USGA Rules of Golf? A: All of our non-Slope units are designed to be permissible when the Local Rule permitting the use of distance-measuring devices is in effect. This is governed by the USGA’s Decision as it relates to Distance Measuring Devices (14-3/0.5 Local Rule Permitting Use of Distance-Measuring Device), which sets forth that players are allowed to use these in rounds conducted under the Rules of Golf when the Committee adopts the Local Rule, as long as they only measure distance. Additionally, the USGA Handicap System manual (Decision 5-1f/2) sets forth that scores made using these distance-only measuring devices are acceptable for handicap purposes, whether or not the Local Rule is in effect.

Q: What are the spots in my monocular? A: You are actually viewing through an LCD (liquid crystal display). The spots you see are on the surface of the LCD, which in turn is magnified 14X. The LCD’s are built in a clean room; however tiny unseen flaws (to the naked eye) do occur. Also during the installation into the monocular dust will sometimes settle on the surface and many times the dust then cannot be blown off the LCD. Bushnell is working feverishly on the quality of the LCD, but that technology is not mature enough to accommodate our requirements. The spots in no way affect the ranging performance of the device. We realize that our customers have come to expect immaculate optics from Bushnell and be assured that we are working toward that goal.

Q: How far will the Yardage Pro range? A: These are excellent questions and probably by far our most frequently asked questions. Unfortunately, a quick answer cannot be given. There are many variables that contribute to the ranging performance: Weather conditions - rain, dust, and high humidity will limit the ranging capabilities. Lighting conditions - low light gives the best ranging conditions. Target size - the bigger the target, the better chances of ranging to it. Target reflectivity - Brighter targets, such as white, ranges great; black colored objects range poorly. Target surface - The actual material of the target will affect the range performance - a flat, smooth sign is much easier to range than a matty haired animal. Angle of Incidence - The angle at which the laser hits the target also makes a difference - the closer you are to reflecting the laser off the target at a 90 degree angle, the further you can range. Hand steadiness - this factor will obviously vary from person to person. You think you have a steady hand? Try holding a laser pen pointer steady on a wall 30 feet away. You will be surprised at the amount of movement. The laser is the same way. It illuminates a bigger spot than the pen pointer but you are ranging 1000 feet or more. It doesn't take much movement to have the laser on a different target than what you intend. This will become even more of a factor as people upgrade to longer ranging devices.

Q: What type of battery do the Yardage Pros use? How long will a battery last? A: This varies by model. See the product grid to determine battery type for your model. A fresh battery should give you 5,000 distances before replacing. But we recommend you replace the battery once a year whether you feel it needs it or not. Bushnell recommends Eveready, Duracell, or similar quality batteries.

I checked out this rangefinder, Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker, against the GPS devices, as well as some of the older Nikon laser devices. This one has wonderful ease of use and accuracy. It gives readings which are very repeatable. It seems to be durable.

I found several things that another user of prospective purchaser might consider helpful:

1. The silicone/rubber surface resists all kind of inks, so that it is impossible to inscribe your name on the outside of the device. I even tried to write my name with a small soldering iron, but the cover even resisted this. Eventually I decided to include a label with my name on it in the battery compartment.
2. The pinseeker feature is excellent for picking up the flag. Using the other setting is helpful in picking layup distances.
3. The battery will become exhausted when you need the device most. Keep a fresh 9 v battery in your bag.
4. The door to the battery compartment will fall open if it is not securely and positively closed.
5. My pro tells me that this rangefinder IS now legal for use on most courses and in most amateur tournaments. This is a local exception to Rule 14-3 made by most local and tournament committees. Note that the model of rangefinder (Bushnell Pro 1600 Slope Edition Laser Rangefinder with Pinseeker and others) which computes slope IS NEVER legal, even if that function is not used, and local committees are not empowered to make an exception. It is the golfer's responsibility to check with the local officials regarding the exception, and to point out prior to the round that this model does not indicate slope (gradient).

I am delighted with this purchase.

LaserLyte Laser Trainer Target

Designed for use with LaserLyte's popular line of laser trainers--including the original Laser Trainer, the Laser Trainer Pro, and the Laser Trainer Cartridge--the interactive Laser Trainer Target records precisely where a laser hits, helping save time, money, and ammunition. With the target, you can learn or teach such shooting skills as unsighted fire, accuracy, grouping, and trigger control. The target is also fully portable, so you can practice shooting skills almost anywhere, even from a favorite recliner.

To use the Laser Trainer Target, simply aim at the target and dry fire the weapon with a LaserLyte laser trainer. The target will record the shot for later feedback, so you can concentrate on the next shot rather than the last shot--just like at the shooting range. When you're ready to see the impact, just dry fire the laser at the red "Display" circle on the unit's face. The target will show you the precise spot your shot would have hit with live ammo. To begin with a fresh target, aim the laser at the red "Reset" circle and dry fire again.

The Laser Trainer Target runs on three AA batteries--good for about 6,000 shots--and can register shots up to 50 yards away. The target contains 62 laser-activated LED lights and operates without the use of a computer, TV, or projector.

This is a great system that provides instant feedback with respect to proper pistol sight alignment and trigger squeeze. When paired with the LaserLyte Pistol Laser Trainer you are able to see where you were pointing when the hammer fell. I used it indoors from 50 feet down to 6 feet, and was impressed with its ability to register where I would have hit had I been actually firing my Kahr P9. Now for the down side. After just 75 shots on target, the LaserLyte Pistol Laser Trainer (NOT the Laser Trainer Target)failed. After checking the batteries and the installation, it was determined that the laser in the Pistol Laser Trainer had become defective. When operating properly, the device would activate a strong laser beam when the hammer on the pistol fell. In between shots, no laser beam could be detected at all. The device was either full on, or full off, no in between. After 75 shots, I found the Pistol Laser Trainer would no longer activate the laser beam when the hammer fell, and the device was now emitting a very dim laser light that could not be turned off. It was now on full time at what appeared to be a low power setting. I contacted LaserLyte and they asked me to send it in for repairs. A return authorization number was provided, but no return postage assistance was offered. I was told to insure the package and have it tracked at my own expense. The customer service rep said they would inspect the device, and either repair or replace it at their option. I mailed it back two days ago, and I'm now awaiting its repair. I have several LaserLyte products, and to date they have all functioned flawlessly. Had the device continued to work with the LaserLyte Laser Trainer Target, I would have given it five stars. As LaserLyte is a reputable organization with a good products, I anticipate a positive final outcome on its repair/replacement. Keep in mind that had I been firing live ammo, the 75 practice shots would have cost me around $25.00 factoring in ammo, target cost and gas to the range. As you can see, just a few hundred practice shots would pay for the cost of both of these LaserLyte products.

I was looking for a medium-powered pair of binoculars for back yard astronomy. I had picked up a pair of Bushnell 10X50's for a few dollars less than the Nikon's and I was disappointed with the quality (there was something wrong with the optics... could not get them to ever completely focus). I promptly returned them and picked up these. What a difference! They were much clearer than the Bushnell's, and the focus is extremely sharp in the center. I take them out just about every night and they offer me a great view of the sky. If you're looking for a good all-around pair of binoculars that's worth more than what you're paying, look no further!

I own this camera as well as a couple of its various brothers that are on the market. It's a fairly decent camera as far as the quality of pictures goes, but it, and its relatives, have one glaring problem that as far as I can see, Bushnell is ignoring. And that is the fact that they have a propensity to take pictures of nothing! They start taking pictures and just keep taking them. If a weed moves, it snaps a picture. If it's windy, it just keeps taking them. You wind up with a thousand pictures of nothing. I filled a 2Gb memory card in 9 hours with nothing to show for it. Putting it in video mode is just as bad.

They claim the batteries will last a year, and that's probably true, if you can keep the thing from taking pictures of the wind! To their credit, Bushnell did replace one of them when I sent it back complaining of this problem, but the new one has the same issues. There are better cameras on the market for the money. Save yourself the frustration and buy one of those.

The rangefinder is outfitted with Bushnell's Angle Range Compensation (ARC) technology, which provides accurate readings from tree stands and steep hills. Simply hit the Fire button and it will calculate the "shoots-like" distance based on the angle of your shot. The rangefinder's Angle Range Compensation (ARC) adjusts the distance based on your standing position. No more having to adjust your true horizontal distance by eye when you're standing at an extreme uphill or downhill angle. The Chuck Adams Edition rangefinder also accommodates bowhunters with its Bow Mode, which simultaneously displays line-of-sight, angle, and true horizontal distances from 5 to 99 yards. And rifle hunters aren't left out, as the rangefinder also provides line-of-sight distances from 5 to 850 yards.

Other features include a built-in digital inclinometer that measures angles from -90 to 90 degrees with +/- 1-degree accuracy; a pocket-sized build; 4x magnification; a rainproof housing; a built-in battery indicator; and a posi-thread battery door. The rangefinder comes with a carrying case, battery, and neck strap.

How Bushnell's Laser Rangefinders Work Bushnell's laser rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 laser beam (as classified by the FDA), which is "bounced" off distant objects at the press of a button. In the process, the rangefinder uses a high-speed digital clock to measure the time it took for the laser beam to reach the target and return, and then calculates the distance within plus-or-minus 1 yard. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button and the time the exact range appears. The information appears on the unit's through-the-lens LCD display.

Because rangefinders bounce laser beams off targets in order to take measurements, their range is partially determined by the target's reflectivity. So distances to reflective or "hard" targets like rock cliffs and semis can be measured from farther away than those to soft-surface targets such as deer. Ranges for moderately reflective targets, like trees, fall somewhere in the middle. Most experienced hunters will use their rangefinder to estimate ranges to near and distant landmarks before they actually encounter a game animal. By pre-measuring ranges to spots where trophies are likely to appear, they can concentrate on making an accurate shot when the moment of truth arrives.

I purchased this Spypoint 5MP Field Camera as a gift for my husband's birthday. The "Spy Point" brand was recommended to me by another hunter that I work with. In no time my husband and I had the camera strapped to a tree facing a food plot, hoping to catch a picture of some wildlife. By the next morning, we had some of the most beautiful pictures of deer and turkey. The night pictures are in black and white but are very clear. The daytime pictures are beautiful and capture the deer whether they are standing in sun or shade. We have purchased 2 SD cards so that we can take one out of the camera and back to the cabin to preview, but have another to leave in the camera. I love this camera and think it is a great value. I chose 2 day shipping, and received it the next day!

The three key ingredients that set the Legend Binoculars apart from other optical systems are ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Prime Glass, Ultra Wide-Band Custom Coating, and RainGuard HD.

The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Prime Glass produces a color tuned, high resolution image, complimented by the high clarity BaK-4 roof prism system. The Ultra Wide-Band Coating is an anti-reflection coating process that is customized for every lens element in the optical path, in order to allow the best possible light from the front glass all the way back to the eyepiece--resulting in improved brightness and true color across the light spectrum. Finally, Bushnell's patented, permanent RainGuard HD water-repellant coating keeps your lens exteriors clear so that you never miss a view.

The Legend Ultra-HD Binoculars are also distinguished by their wide fields of view, that allow you to view moving animals or other objects clearly. With 10x magnification and a 42-millimeter objective, the Legend Ultra HD 10x42 Binoculars offer a 340-foot filed of view at 1000 yards with an extremely close focus of 6.5 feet. The standard-sized 10x42 Binoculars are designed for a lightweight and a streamlined feel with magnesium chassis and soft touch grips. The binoculars are suitable for use in any conditions thanks to 100 percent waterproof and fogproof construction. Legend Ultra-HD Binoculars come with a deluxe binocular harness and premium carry case with a microfiber cleaning cloth. Built for long-lasting use, the Binoculars' carry a limited lifetime warranty and a no-risk satisfaction guarantee.

About Roof Prism Binoculars: The prism system of a binocular reduces the size needed to contain a long optical path and turns what would be an upside-down image right-side-up. In roof prism binoculars, the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, streamlined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line. Roof prism binoculars are less bulky and more rugged than an equivalent porro model.

So, I own a pair of Bushnells 10x42, not as spendy as these and from the get go opening of the box, I am not overwhelmed. The presentation of the nocs is quite an ordeal. Big box opens to a smaller case, seperate box for harness and strap, then a BigAxx zip open, non functional case for the binocs? C'mon man.

The eyecups on these hav no relief. They screw half a turn compared to my cheaper Bushies. These have hard plastic, no rubber cups for viewing ease.

That being said, I will leave more once I use these for viewing, but so far, not that Rockin-
