I am always iffy about purchasing knives online. I like to look it over and get a feel for the knife before committing to anything. When my knife arrived however, I was impressed. There were no faults in craftsmanship at all, and it came decently sharp. There were no nicks or bevels in the edge, and the ares of the knife that were meant to be straight were straight. The weight and balance of it equal that of the original ka bar, and it feels just the same in your hand. The serrations on the back are convenient being that you don't dull those hard-to-sharpen babies through normal cutting use. Its large enough to hack through a deer ribcage, and suttle enough to gut a small fish. Any task I put this tool through I am confident it will excell at. 5 stars easy
