Uniden MHS75 VHF Waterproof Two-Way Marine Radio (Electronics) I've owned several Uniden radios over the years. They are always well built, reliable and work. This radio is no exception. It is clear on broadcast and receive at all 3 wattage settings. Even in congested radio traffic areas, the battery will 8 hours daily over 2-3 days on a charge (mostly receive). In noisy, windy, etc environments you want to keep it around your chest. My minor nitpicks is that when the radio is turned of it doesn't retain the last settings for scan mode, etc, but it just takes a few seconds to set it up. Get an AC - 12v adapter ($5-$10) so that you can charge it off a wall.

Shipped very quickly and it does work in the access port in my new 2012 Kia Soul!. The description above states that it: "Displays track, artist, and playlist information...,". Now while it does charge my iPhone 3Gs while playing the tracks the only display I'm getting on the car's UVO sound system is "Aux.in use". I can flip through my tracts the old fashioned way (taking my eyes off the road to scan my iPhone, NOT a good idea)and play the music, but the only way I can get the stated display of track, artist & playlist info is to unplug this new cord & plug in the cord supplied with my iPhone into the Audio plug instead. Then the UVO system reads the iPhone & displays all the info while playing my music (and NOT charging the phone).I guess either way I'm not really too disapointed; I still get a charger along with a music cord, but I'll have to only use that when I have a co-driver at hand to scan for tracks. And the cost, at $20 something was less than Kia wanted for the same thing.
