SiriusXM SXABB2 Portable Speaker Dock (Electronics) I was worried about how this thing would sound and perform. My first experience with a portable sat unit (a Sky-Fi, My-Fi)was lackluster for sure. I mean its a portable satellite radio unit so my expectations were forgiving. Man o man, this thing is great! Sound quality, specifically bass response is mind blowing. I would go so far as to say it would rival the sound docks from Bose. Getting a strong sat signal can be tricky at times. It takes a little bit of practice and knowing your cardinal directions (XM recommends aiming the antenna south) but surprisingly for the most part you can just point it at the sky and rock on. I have on occasion been able to set it on the kitchen counter and aim the antenna southward and it work just fine inside the house!Now for the downside. And there is only one. Battery life does seem a bit short. But in its defense it does have to power the unit in addition to the internal amp for the speakers, and I was not using a high quality set of batteries. But even so I would not expect it to last a super long time. It does sort of stink that it needs (8) D cell batteries, but with a good set or rechargeable batteries I expect it should last a while loner. Hey you got to pay to play right? I plan to try it soon with the good rechargeable batteries I have and update this review.Side note: I did have one issue while using the unit. It was an isolated incident but the volume would cut out and the lights around the volume knob would flash randomly. It only happened once and I use this thing 3+ days a week, also since I cannot replicate the problem I would not say it is an issue, just wanted to point it out.

This one is given to me by a family member. There are things you should know about power banks before making your purchase; hopefully, this review will help since it's not a free sample review by Amazon vine. My opinion on this unit therefore is different from other reviewers.Built-in AC Adapter:-Power banks such as this having the convenience of the AC adapter built into the unit is a plus. This is definitely not the first in the market. The description says that your can charge the mycharge peak from your laptop. Who would do this unless they want to completely drain their laptop batteries. Most laptop allows sleep charge on the USB ports.Built-in Cables:This is also a great idea to have; however, as one reviewers here mentioned that the cables are too short. His/her suggestion of a retractable cable is a good idea; unfortunately, most retractable cables snap easily. The micro usb and Apple products cable are simply too short. They can only be left for charging because of their length. A person can hold the Mycharge Peak on one hand and an iPhone on the other but definitely not iPad. It would definitely be nice to leave the power bank inside a bag or pocket with a long cable to enable a person to use the iPad/phone or anything else while charging. That's why I rather carry an extra cable in a wallet/messenger bag. The installation manual was no help, oh wait thats right ,there WASN'T ONE! You'll have to just go off of your old stereo and just match up color to color.After it was all hooked up the DVD had no picture because of the safety in it so you can't watch a movie while you drive. So again with no installation manual it was trial and error to get the picture to come up, was finally able to figure it out. In the source menu there are alot of options, such as bluetooth, but I couldn't figure it out! There is a Mic on the front of the stereo, but have not been able to get the bluetooth function to work. If there is no bluetooth function then don't put a bluetooth function icon in the menu. Other than that the picture quality for the DVD is great and the sound quality is excellent! Overall it is a great buy.

The installation manual was no help, oh wait thats right ,there WASN'T ONE! You'll have to just go off of your old stereo and just match up color to color.After it was all hooked up the DVD had no picture because of the safety in it so you can't watch a movie while you drive. So again with no installation manual it was trial and error to get the picture to come up, was finally able to figure it out. In the source menu there are alot of options, such as bluetooth, but I couldn't figure it out! There is a Mic on the front of the stereo, but have not been able to get the bluetooth function to work. If there is no bluetooth function then don't put a bluetooth function icon in the menu. Other than that the picture quality for the DVD is great and the sound quality is excellent! Overall it is a great buy.
