Packaging:
The packaging includes a double ply box and plenty of styrofoam. It is the right width to get into a single door going sideways and light enough for a man to carry upstairs. The box fits into the back seat of a Mazda 3 with room to spare.

Assembly:
All the necessary components and tools along with the instructions are include. Anyone capable of following instructions should be capable of assembling this bike. The most difficult part is installing the handle bars because you must hold them in place while tightening the bolts, but once in place adjusting them is not difficult.

Size:
The bike is very compact and ideal for apartment dwellers. It is less than the width of my nightstand and about 1/3rd the length of my bed. The console height reaches halfway up the standard apartment window.

Comfort:
The seat included has caused no noticeable discomfort for a semi-fit 200lb man. The included water bottle holder is very handy because it keeps me from having to dismount the bike to grab a drink. The peddles apply even pressure on the foot and are comfortable even with socks. The included foot straps are not required for riding and I have no plans to install them.

Operation:
The user interface is simplistic and adequate though its calorie counter estimation seems to be low. The programs do work effectively and are easily adjusted for difficulty by using the up/down arrows. I found adequate challenge even in the mid-level difficulties when giving a full effort. Muscle emphasis is definitely aimed at the front quadriceps which is by far the most demanding muscle to use in the body. The result is an effective cardio workout for increasing condition, changing body composition, and losing fat when coupled with proper eating. You do need 4 D batteries to power the interface so prepare for that if you decide to purchase the bike. The interface uses real buttons and responds to input better than other bikes I have used.

Use:
I am a bodybuilder that uses this machine to supplement Cardio Kickboxing and Strength Training. It is the right tool for that job. If you want to get fit and need a quiet machine to do the job this is it. It is not nearly as great as a rower, but it is also 1/4th the cost new.
