I've paid more for knife sets over the years but this is by far the best set I've bought for the money. The knives are heavy, heavy duty and super sharp. The block is just OK but as long as the knives are top notch, I can live with the block. I absolutely recommend this set. My bet is you'll be as happy as I am with mine
