The three key ingredients that set the Legend Binoculars apart from other optical systems are ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Prime Glass, Ultra Wide-Band Custom Coating, and RainGuard HD.

The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Prime Glass produces a color tuned, high resolution image, complimented by the high clarity BaK-4 roof prism system. The Ultra Wide-Band Coating is an anti-reflection coating process that is customized for every lens element in the optical path, in order to allow the best possible light from the front glass all the way back to the eyepiece--resulting in improved brightness and true color across the light spectrum. Finally, Bushnell's patented, permanent RainGuard HD water-repellant coating keeps your lens exteriors clear so that you never miss a view.

The Legend Ultra-HD Binoculars are also distinguished by their wide fields of view, that allow you to view moving animals or other objects clearly. With 10x magnification and a 42-millimeter objective, the Legend Ultra HD 10x42 Binoculars offer a 340-foot filed of view at 1000 yards with an extremely close focus of 6.5 feet. The standard-sized 10x42 Binoculars are designed for a lightweight and a streamlined feel with magnesium chassis and soft touch grips. The binoculars are suitable for use in any conditions thanks to 100 percent waterproof and fogproof construction. Legend Ultra-HD Binoculars come with a deluxe binocular harness and premium carry case with a microfiber cleaning cloth. Built for long-lasting use, the Binoculars' carry a limited lifetime warranty and a no-risk satisfaction guarantee.

About Roof Prism Binoculars: The prism system of a binocular reduces the size needed to contain a long optical path and turns what would be an upside-down image right-side-up. In roof prism binoculars, the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, streamlined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line. Roof prism binoculars are less bulky and more rugged than an equivalent porro model.

This review is from: Bushnell 10x42mm Legend Ultra HD Binoculars (Sports)
So, I own a pair of Bushnells 10x42, not as spendy as these and from the get go opening of the box, I am not overwhelmed. The presentation of the nocs is quite an ordeal. Big box opens to a smaller case, seperate box for harness and strap, then a BigAxx zip open, non functional case for the binocs? C'mon man.

The eyecups on these hav no relief. They screw half a turn compared to my cheaper Bushies. These have hard plastic, no rubber cups for viewing ease.

That being said, I will leave more once I use these for viewing, but so far, not that Rockin-
