The Watch itself weighs in at just 2.33 ounces, and boasts a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that provides eight hours of run time with the GPS and sensor both turned on, and up to 50 days of standby power. The watch is also water resistant (up to 5 ATM), for when you head out in less-than-ideal weather. English interface only.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program
(What's this?) Unlike some of the reviews here written by some serious runners, I'm no serious runner. Not by a long shot. I'm a novice, really just trying to run to get in shape because I live in the country and there's no gyms available. Well, really because there's just no way to get in shape and lose some weight while I sit on the couch.

So, for some of the more technical details, check those other reviews. But here's my experience:

1. Accuracy. I run on a flat plan around a flat town. I know the distances based on my car's odometer that I double-checked with a hand-held GPS. At the end of a run, the watch reflects the same distance every time (within a few hundreths of a mile, which I account coming from dodging parked cars). Moreover, this distance matches what I've clocked ahead of time.

2. Time-keeping: it keeps time accurately. Of course, it re-syncs to the PC every time I connect the two, so that helps. But, what good is a watch that doesn't keep time? This one does fine.

3. Speed of sync with GPS: I have a hand-held that takes twice as long to sync with the satellite network for GPS. This connects in under 10 seconds, so I can have it start searching as I walk down the driveway and the watch is ready to clock the run when I hit the pavement. That's good enough for me.

4. Feel of wear: it's not too heavy or awkward. The band design is a little strange compared to an ordinary watch, but that only impacts putting it on.

5. Durability: I have some concerns that the USB connector, residing in the watch band, will wear out sooner rather than later. It's good for now, though. However, if you break that connector off, you're toast. Also, make sure that portion is dry when you hook it up to your computer or your USB ports will not be happy.

6. Control: the buttons are good, but the "Tap" to illuminate just did not work well for me. I found myself pounding the watch to get it to light up in the dark---then giving up, gently tapping where I thought I did in the first place, and the light came on.

7. Run help: the thing I liked the most was this: the watch allows you to set up interval-based signals. You can program it based on distance or time. I did time: 3 minutes, 1 minute rest. The watch alarms to signal shifts. This is great for me as I'm trying to build up running time.

I probably would rate it 3.5 stars if Amazon did half-stars, but it's better than 3 if not quite worth 4.
