It comes in a 12-inch model (recommended for ages 2 to 5) and 16-inch model (for ages 3 to 6).

Each bike is outfitted with handlebar pads for added safety and a removable backpack that attaches to the handlebar via Velcro straps. It's decorated throughout with Lightning McQueen and Cars decorations--right down to the comfortably padded seat. Training wheels offer stability while learning and can be easily removed while coaster-style brakes make stopping a breeze for new cyclists (the bike also includes front caliper brakes). Other features include an enclosed chain guard to help prevent snags and dirty pants cuffs, and hybrid slick tires for a good balance of speed and traction. Some assembly required.

The chain guard is decorated with Cars decals and protects from snags. The Lightning McQueen backpack easily attaches to the handlebar.

You can probably buy a much better bike for much less at any department store. This bike is horrible. It was a pain the neck to put together. Finally, my 4 year old son gets to ride it but the training wheels are so hard that it is nearly impossible for the child to actually ride the bike because the training wheels drag on the ground instead of rolling. Then a couple of weeks later the chain came off and no matter how many times i put it back on (which is also a pain in the neck), it just keeps coming off after a minute's use.
Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.
I am going to buy a different bike for my son. If someone is still interested in buying this bicycle, I have one for sale!
