My wife and I got this set from Amazon in July 2011.It was simple to set up and had an excellent picture using the factory default settings right out of its shipping carton although there are menu upon menu of adjustments you can tweak if that is your heart's desire.This set has Energy star certification and has low power consumption for an HDTV of this size.The set is of the sleek thin bezel design and is only an inch and a half thick at it's thickest points.The least satisfying feature of this set is the volume produced by it's internal speaker system.Like some others have said the sound produced is pitifully low. In plain English,it sucks. That being said,if you are into home theater this isn't a concern but if you're not you are in for a big shock unless you are a fan of closed captions.A supplemental sound system is a must with a set of this design.Home theater,sound bar,whatever.You are going to need one so bear this in mind .We love the set now that our home theater is here.
