Using an infrared heat lamp was suggested to me by a friend to help the congestion in my chest. I am borderline between asthma and chronic bronchitis and have a lot of congestion. I liked the review of this lamp about the goose neck that is adjustable compared to solid bars, and the fact it is used in chiropractic offices for their patients.

I feel some relief when I use it often. This lamp is on rollers and I can easily slide it to my chair and back out of the way afterwards. I find this lamp is a comfortable fit when I sit in my chair to give me the warmth I need. It has a timer so you can set how many minutes you want the lamp on, plus a dial for the intensity of the heat. Also, my husband likes to warm up his sore shoulder or knee under the lamp. I am very pleased I ordered this and feel it has healing properties in it when used as directed.
